The 2025 Indigenous Wellbeing Gathering Conference was a multidisciplinary, community-rooted event dedicated to strengthening relationships, sharing knowledge, and advancing the wellbeing of Indigenous Peoples. Hosted by the Urban Indigenous Wellbeing Collective from October 23–25 at the Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna, BC, this three-day gathering brought together 110 Elders, Knowledge Keepers, researchers, students, practitioners, community members, youth, and young adults to explore Indigenous-identified wellness priorities and build meaningful connections across academic, health, and community networks.
This year’s theme, “Threads of Connection: Weaving Community, Culture, and Knowledge,” guided participants through ceremony, keynote talks, breakout sessions, arts and culture, land-based learning, and collaborative dialogue. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and contributed to
creating such a warm, relational, and inspiring space.
